Red house-shaped keychain with 'dream home' text attached to keys.

Bloomsbury EMB manages approximately 659 properties on the estate. As part of our management agreement with Birmingham City Council, we deliver all aspects of tenancy management. As part of the Neighbourhood Management Services we provide, we have a Neighbourhood Officer on site that is here to help our customers manage their tenancy.

Their work will include the following.

- Management of your tenancy conditions

- Dealing with any breaches of the tenancy conditions

- Reports of subletting

- Carry out vulnerability assessments and Safeguarding. This may involve working or signposting customer to the relevant support agencies if needed

- Conducting Tenancy Audits

– to make sure you are managing your tenancy

- Checking if properties have been abandoned

- Successions, survivorships and assignment requests

- Adding someone to your tenancy

- Advice on your housing options such as transfers and mutual exchanges (Home Swapper)

- Requests for Lodgers, pets, running a business

The Neighbourhood Officer can help residents understand their tenancy agreements and deal with all housing tenancy related queries.

We are here to help you with any aspects of your tenancy that you need advice on. If you need to speak with the Neighbourhood Officer, please contact the office on 0121 464 1550 or email us on customerservices@bloomsburyemb.com

We do operate an appointment system for seeing our customers. This allows us to dedicate the right amount of time for us to sit down with you and address any concerns or issues you may have. Our front of house team (Concierge Officers) can book you an appointment to see the Officer at the earliest opportunity.
